C.1838 Audubon's Birds of America- Heron's- Round Frame

Extremely suspicious and shy, this bird is ever on the look-out. Its sight is as acute as that of any Falcon, and it can hear at a considerable distance. This print pays tribute to the renowned and exquisitely hand-coloured Audubon illustrations from 1838, preserving the timeless beauty of this remarkable species. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand-painted over the top to give them bright vibrant colours.

These antiques are remastered to restore damage, and bring back the original colours, then they are printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing.
