The sofa is the heart of a living space, so it’s important that you choose the perfect one for you. Our huge range of vintage sofas may make your choice difficult. Allow us to help.
Think about the
size of your living space and choose a sofa accordingly. For smaller living spaces, perhaps consider a small two-seater sofa with some accent chairs so not to overwhelm the space, and allow plenty of room for you and your guests to move around with ease.
The layout is important to consider. What will the space be used for? Relaxing in front of the TV after a long day? Hosting family game nights? Gatherings with friends? Choose a comfortable chunky sofa to sink into if you plan to use the space as a relaxation zone and place it in front of the television with a coffee or side table for easy access. For gatherings, arrange your sofas in a semi-circle so everyone can join in on the conversation – perhaps arrange around a large coffee table if you have the space.
On another note, if you have pets or young children running around, look out for our upholstered sofas with Aqua Clean technology; allowing you to clean dirt and stains with just water alone – highly practical!
And of course, colour and style. Our mid-century, classic, antique and vintage sofas will suit a variety of spaces. Keep in mind the surroundings and choose something that will carry the space. For traditional style interiors, a classic two or three seater with neutral earthy tones would fit the bill, perhaps with some accent colours on the cushions to make it stand out. Or for more contemporary spaces, why not try something edgier and more vibrant? A bold design placed in a tired-looking or neutral space will transform the space and liven up the party!
