Our passion is seeking out those elusive pieces that are unique, and characterful, so that you can browse and shop from the comfort of your home.

  • How do I contact customer service?

  • I’m looking for something in particular, can you help?

    Yes, ‘Spotted for You’ is our courtesy sourcing service. We use our network of independent retailers, designers and antique dealers to seek a particular product based on your brief.

  • How do I use your sourcing service?

    In three easy steps - first create an account and select ‘Spotted for You’. Fill out our briefing form with as much information as possible and we will get searching. We are able to source products from the brief, find items similar to those recently sold on site or commission a new piece to meet your requirements.

  • Can I commission a bespoke piece?

    Yes, with our ‘Made To Order’ service we will work with you to create bespoke pieces tailored to your exact requirements.

  • How do I use your ‘Made to Order’ service?

    answer

    First, create an account and select ‘Made to Order’ from the listed areas on the left hand side. Complete the briefing form as fully as possible and we will work with our network of artisans and designers to deliver a commission that meets your exact specification.

  • Do you offer a gift service?

    answer

    Yes, we can offer a comprehensive and fully managed gift service with a straightforward donation system, a range of gift vouchers to accommodate a variety of budgets and list management to ensure you can thank all those who have contributed. For more information visit our Gift List page.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    answer

    We can arrange delivery of our products to every corner of the world. International delivery classes as any other country outside the UK with delivery costs quoted on an ad hoc basis. Before placing your order please call or email the team with details of the product you would like to purchase along with your address and we will search for the most competitive rates.

    All delivery costs (including taxes) are charged at the point of purchase.

  • What are your UK delivery costs?

    All delivery costs are shown on product pages. As a standard, these are for mainland UK; excluding Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands where whilst we endeavour to charge the same, higher rates may apply on occasion.

  • What are your delivery times?

    answer

    An estimated delivery time for each item is specified on each product page. Delivery of larger items will be managed by independent delivery companies and overseen by the Lesser Spotted team, ensuring it is delivered on a day and at a time convenient to you. You will be asked to sign a delivery form, confirming the item has been received and is undamaged. Where required, we will be happy to help you assemble the furniture.

  • Can I track my order?

    Items suitable for delivery via the Royal Mail or similar service providers, will be confirmed by email with a tracking number allowing you to manage the delivery of your item.

  • How is delivery arranged for bespoke orders?

    When commissioning bespoke items, the Lesser Spotted team will contact you when the item is a week away from being finished to arrange a convenient delivery date.

  • Can I return items?

    answer

    Yes, for all cancellable items you have 14 days from receiving your goods to notify us of your wish to cancel or exchange. The cancellation period will expire 28 days from the day you receive your goods.

  • How do I cancel, return or exchange my items?

    answer

    Contact the Lesser-Spotted team to let them know that you wish to cancel your order, return or exchange a product by email to info@lesser-spotted.co.uk or telephone on +44 (0) 1283 319003. We will then advise the return address- please do not send back to the business address shown on the site.

    Please don’t destroy or throw away any product, even if it’s faulty, before you’ve spoken to us and agreed that doing so won't affect any refund you may be entitled to.

    Please note that you are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling of the product in any way other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product while you are responsible for it.

  • What items are non-returnable?

    Unfortunately, some items are non-cancellable and non-refundable:

    Anything that’s made to your specific requirements, is personalised or otherwise can't be resold due to a bespoke element. To avoid disappointment, please check with the Lesser Spotted team whether an item is cancellable or non-cancellable before ordering either by email or telephone.

  • What are the delivery charges for a returned product?

    Yes, whilst we are happy to oversee the return, the charge for which will be the same cost as the delivery to you. This varies for each product.

  • When will my refund be received?

    answer

    We will process the refund directly to your bank account, in no more than:

    a.14 days after the day the product is received; or

    b. if earlier, 14 days after the date you provide evidence that you have returned the product; or

    c. if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which you informed us (via Step 1 above) about your decision to cancel your order.

  • Do you sell gift vouchers?

    Yes, we have a range of gift vouchers to suit any budget. Gift vouchers are fully refundable within seven business days of purchase.

  • Can Lesser Spotted help with Interior Design Services?

    answer

    Absolutely, we can assist in a decorating overhaul of your entire home, furnishing a room, refreshed room layouts or simply inspiration for styling your existing scheme.

  • How does the Interior Design process work?

    answer

    Our team can collaborate with you from brief to concept right through to installation and adding the finishing touches.

    First choose one of our design packages, then book a complimentary initial consultation with the team to discuss your style, ideas and needs. A member of our team will then be assigned to lead your project which will include a presentation of our recommendations.

  • What are your design packages?

    answer

    We can collaborate remotely or in person and we can tailor any package to suit your individual needs. See our Interior Design page for more details or speak to us about your specific requirements.

  • How much does your Interior Design Service cost?

    answer

    Our packages start at £195, where we collaborate with you remotely by phone or email. This cost is redeemable against any (or all) of the recommended furnishings from Lesser Spotted.

    Larger projects will be quoted on application, based on your requirements.

  • Do I have to purchase furnishing just from Lesser Spotted when using the Interior Design Services?

    answer

    No, we will make recommendations for items and designers outside of Lesser-Spotted, regardless of the chosen package, where you can either buy direct or take advantage of our trade discounts.

  • How will I know that a piece of furniture fits?

    answer

    We have created a measuring guide for you to ensure that your chosen piece of furniture can not only fit and function in your space, but also give you a guide to ensuring larger items can be moved into the room from entry points.
