Product Description

The American white pelican is a large aquatic bird found in North America, moving south and to the coasts, as far as Central America and South America, in winter. This print celebrates the famous beautifully hand coloured Aubudon print from the 1838. Prints of this style were originally printed in black and white and then hand-painted over the top to give them bright vibrant colours.

These antiques are remastered to restore damage, and bring back the original colours, then they are printed with archival grade methods to ensure the highest quality and prevent ageing.

Framed ready to hang. The standard frame is depicted in the pictures but other frames are available on request.
